Are all of Mailbox Solutions  products on the website?

Not at this time, but we are working on it! We have more than 3000 items and variations that we sell. If you can’t find what you are looking for just send us an email or give us a call.

What Kind of Mailbox do I need?

Typically if you are in a neighborhood and need 4 or less mailboxes in one location our individual mailboxes will be what works best for you. We have adapter plates available that enable up to 4 individual mailboxes on a single post if you need more than 4 in one location you probably want to look at our group mailboxes.

Can Mailbox Solutions install my mailbox for me?

If you are located in the Portland Metro Area we offer installation services. If you are outside of the Portland area often times we can refer you to a contractor that provides Mailbox Installation in your area.

Where are the Mailboxes Made?

All of our individual Mailboxes, posts and accessories are manufactured in the USA. The Products we manufacture ourselves are built right here in Tualatin.  All of the Group Mailboxes we carry are accepted by the Buy American Act.

What do I do if I lost my Keys?

If you have lost all of your keys you will need a new lock. For the Group Mailboxes locks are typically readily available through any locksmith (not a hardware store!), Or you can order one through us. The mailboxes manufactured by Mailbox Solutions use a “Euro-Lock” and you likely won’t be able to find one except through Mailbox Solutions.  We recommend hiring a locksmith to swap the lock out for you.

How can I get additional keys?

If your mailbox keys say “CompX” or “National” on them, you should be able to have a locksmith duplicate an original key for you. If your key says “Euro Lock” then you will need to purchase the blanks from Mailbox Solutions and take those to a locksmith for duplication from an original Key.

How come my key no longer works?

Over time keys and locks have a tendency to pick up dust and lint. This debris often works it’s way into the springs and pins inside the key way of the lock. The result is a key that struggles sliding into the lock, or a lock that once the key is in won’t turn. This is a very common issue and luckily is easy to fix yourself. The lock needs to be flushed out and lubricated using a penetrating oil like Slick 50 1 Lube, WD40 or PB Blaster.  Simply squirt some of the penetrating oil into the slot of the lock and start working the key in and out while using a clean paper towel to wipe the dirty oil away, -DO NOT USE A GRAPHITE BASED LUBRICANT!
